Porcelain Id
Porcelain Id sounds like what would happen if Blood Orange and David Bowie started a band. Folk? Check. Soul? Check. Lo-fi electronics? Also check. Fortunately, Hubert Tuyishime’s alter ego (they/she) needs only one thing: that incredible voice, both fragile and razor-sharp.

Since 2020, Porcelain Id has rightly become one of the most distinctive voices in the Belgian music scene. In February 2024, the debut album Bibi:1 was released — an intimate and daring work inspired by Tuyishime’s move from a small town to the city. Both press and audience embraced it immediately. And we’ve seen it live: Tuyishime is even better on stage. It feels a bit like stepping into a film whose plot you don’t know — but instantly wanting the soundtrack.
