Joost Oomen + Kruidkoek
Poetry can be a riot, especially when Joost Oomen hits the stage with garage-jazz band Kruidkoek. Frank Zappa, Remco Campert, and the Talking Heads collide in a blender, then someone throws glitter and popcorn on top.

They call it “a musical-literary potpourri,” but that doesn’t even come close. Wild jazz bouncing off Joost’s sharp, hilarious poems, fruit-eating, papaya songs, and yes, maybe the popcorn canon makes a return. The Theaterkrant said it best: “a steaming evening from five men that create a universe you never want to leave.”
It’s absurd. It’s chaotic. It’s brilliant.
